Customer service.

When buying shit be nice to the person serving to you, chances are they are having a shit day and will appreciate it, they will also be more inclined to give you a better price.

This parallels making complaints, be nice but assertive to assure your point is not lost whilst not being a dickhead. The manager etc will be more inclined to give you free shit.

Further more, to get out of shitty contracts and etc once again be a gentleman, ask to speak to superiors and tell them that you were unaware/whatever. Tell them you're moving state and that their service has been amazing and you want to stay with the company (they'd much rather keep you than get a once off payment). Obviously bail and join another company once they let you go.

Efficiency.

Always, always, always be doing something unless you're having leisure time. If you're at school/uni and have a free class, knock off some tute/home work. You'll find during your leisure times you will be more relaxed as you didn't waste time during the day. Same applies to work, get the work done and then slack off.

Set up templates in word, this saves heaps of time as you don't have to muck around every time you open a new document with the font etc.

Even though the topic is being efficient, do the best job you can with time permitting, everyone will respect you more. That being said don't waste time being over perfect.

Time is something you can never get back, just remember that when you dick around.

Quick and easy!

If you have ever downloaded a demo or a program that has a 'trail period' and has run out, theres a simple and easy way to keep using that product without uninstalling and re-installing (that method only works occasionally).

Firstly all you have to do is change the date of your computer back 1 year. Simple and easy. The trail or demo will continue to work.

However, sometimes it will mess up your calender etc, but is very simple and easy trick!

Shower.

If you have just worked out don't bother taking a shower until at least 10 minutes after. By the time you get out of the shower you will still be sweating and this means it was almost pointless.

Before getting out of the shower wipe yourself off with your hands. This will get most of the water off you. This also means that more water will stay in the shower and not on the bathroom floor, it also means it will take less time to dry yourself.

Pro-tip: Remember to clean behind your ears and make sure to blow your nose into your hand. People don't realise how much dirt gets up your nose.

Organisation!

When ever listening to something, eg TV or Music, always listen to it softly. It protects your ears and means when you go to a concert it makes the experience THAT much more enjoyable.

Always keep your self organised it means less stress and more time to get things done. Clean your room/house all the time. You'll be able to find things easier and it makes you feel better when every things clean.

Make a jar for coins. Every time you find random $1 and $2 coins put them in there and don't take them out. At the end of a month/year take the coins to the bank and deposit it, you'll find that you have quite a bit of money. This stops you from wasting that spare change on fast food etc and means you can use it on proper things.

Bicycle

Invest in a bike. Getting places is so much easier (weave in and around traffic, disobey road rules). It saves you money as you don't have to spend it on fuel and parking tickets. It will get you fitter, help your general well being and will help with losing weight. It can also allow you to drink alcohol at places as you have a mode of transport home. Trust me, drunk ride homes are a breeze.

Any bike will do - A road bike will probably help the most. You can normally pick these up quite cheap second hand. Give them a quick wash and maybe new rims, tyres and tubes. Then it's good to go.

Pro-tip: A 10k ride will take roughly half an hour!
